Over the years I’ve photographed fungi in many different places – the before-digital photos are buried in
a pile piles of photographs languishing in boxes somewhere, but digital photos taken after the last computer update are readily accessible – the only problem being that I haven’t always recorded where the photos were taken – another note to self: be more organised.
Today’s photo is one of the orphans, although I have a vague memory that I took it in New Zealand. It is obviously taken in a rain forest environment. It’s one of my favourites because it reminds me so much of frangipanis, a favourite flower, that I can almost smell the perfume!
Can anyone identify it?
